Requirements for ordering a virtual number

Proof of Address (National), Recent Utility Bill or Invoice

A document evidencing the customer's physical address within the same country as the phone number being purchased, dated within the past 3 months. Acceptable documents include utility bills (electricity, water, gas, internet, landline telephone), bank statements, tax notices, or government-issued correspondence. The document must clearly show (1) the full name of the individual or registered business name, (2) the complete physical address (street, postal code, city, country), and (3) the document issue date. The document must be submitted as a PDF or clear color scan. Screenshots, handwritten documents, mobile phone bills (when not the proof of residence), and bills older than 3 months are not acceptable.

Example
A PDF of an Iberdrola electricity bill dated within the last 90 days, addressed to the customer at a Spanish residential address, for a Spain phone number order. The bill must show the customer's name, full service address, and the issuer's logo and billing date.

Local Business Registration Certificate (issued in country of phone number)

An official business registration or incorporation certificate issued by the government registry of the same country as the phone number being purchased. The document must show the registered company name (matching the order), the unique company registration or incorporation number, the date of registration, the registered business address, and the issuing authority. The certificate must be in the local language or English, must be a clear color scan or original PDF, and should be dated within the past 3 months unless a different timeframe is specified at the country level.

Contact Information (Name, Business Name, Phone Number)

Contact information for the business or end user, including: (1) the name of the contact person (full given name and family name), (2) the business name when the end user is a business (registered legal name where applicable; may be omitted or stated as 'N/A' for individual end users), and (3) one or more contact phone numbers where the business or end user can be reached. Contact person name and at least one phone number are mandatory; business name is required only when the end user is a business entity. Phone numbers should be in international E.164 format where possible.

VAT or Tax ID Number

A valid Value Added Tax registration number or Tax Identification Number issued by the relevant national tax authority. The submitted value must conform to the format used by the issuing country. The number must correspond to the entity named on the order. Either a VAT number (typically with a country prefix) or a Tax ID (typically without a country prefix) is acceptable.

Physical Address Within the Country of the Phone Number (National)

A valid, real-world physical address located in the same country as the phone number being purchased. The address must include street name and number, postal or ZIP code, city, region or province (where applicable), and country. The address does not need to match the specific city or area code of the number; any address within the national borders is acceptable. P.O. boxes, virtual office addresses, mailbox-only services, and addresses outside the country of the phone number are not acceptable. The address should match the address shown on supporting identity or business registration documents where those are also required.

The submitted value must be a syntactically valid email address (max 150 characters) and should reach the end client directly. Generic or shared role-based addresses (e.g., info@, contact@) are acceptable but a personal address tied to the named end client is preferred.

Local Government-Issued ID/Passport Copy or Local Company Registration Certificate

Either (a) a clear color copy of a valid, unexpired government-issued ID or passport for the individual end user (issued by the same country as the phone number); OR (b) a copy of the company registration or incorporation certificate issued by the local government registry of that same country. The choice depends on whether the end user is an individual (option a) or a business (option b). Documents from countries other than the phone number's country are not acceptable. ID/passports must show full name, photograph, date of birth, document number, and expiration date and must not be expired. Business certificates must show legal name, registration number, registration date, and registered address.
