Requirements for ordering a virtual number

Passport/ID Copy OR Business Registration Certificate (Depending on Use Case)

Identity documentation, with the required document depending on whether the number will be registered to a company or to a person. For NUMBERS REGISTERED TO A COMPANY: a company registration certificate is required. For NUMBERS REGISTERED TO A PERSON: a passport, ID, or driver's license copy is required. The submitted document must be a legible copy with text and security features readable; the company certificate must show legal name, registration number, and registered address; the passport, ID, or driver's license must show full name, photograph, document number, and a valid (unexpired) expiration date.

Example
Company use case: a Companies House Certificate. Personal use case: a legible scan or photo of the individual's passport biographical page, national ID card, or driver's license. Color is preferred but grayscale is acceptable provided all required fields and security features are clearly readable.

Contact Information (Name, Business Name, Phone Number)

Contact information for the business or end user, including: (1) the name of the contact person (full given name and family name), (2) the business name when the end user is a business (registered legal name where applicable; may be omitted or stated as 'N/A' for individual end users), and (3) one or more contact phone numbers where the business or end user can be reached. Contact person name and at least one phone number are mandatory; business name is required only when the end user is a business entity. Phone numbers should be in international E.164 format where possible.

Worldwide Physical Address

A valid, real-world physical address located anywhere in the world. Must include street name and number, postal code (where applicable), city, region or province (where applicable), and country. The address provided must correspond to a validated physical address (e.g., as enriched via address validation in the Telnyx system). P.O. boxes, virtual office addresses, and mailbox-only services may not be acceptable depending on the order's downstream country requirements; a deliverable physical location is preferred.
