Requirements for ordering a virtual number

Contact Information (Name, Business Name, Phone Number)

Contact information for the business or end user, including: (1) the name of the contact person (full given name and family name), (2) the business name when the end user is a business (registered legal name where applicable; may be omitted or stated as 'N/A' for individual end users), and (3) one or more contact phone numbers where the business or end user can be reached. Contact person name and at least one phone number are mandatory; business name is required only when the end user is a business entity. Phone numbers should be in international E.164 format where possible.

Company Registration Certificate (Local Language or English)

A copy of the company registration or incorporation certificate for the company placing the order. The certificate does not need to be issued in the same country as the phone number being ordered. The document is acceptable as long as it is issued by a recognized company registrar in the country where the company is registered and is written either in English or in the local language of the country of company registration. The document must show the registered legal company name matching the order, the unique registration or incorporation number, the date of registration, the registered business address, and the issuing authority. Submitted as a clear color scan or original PDF.

Example
A Companies House certificate (UK, in English), a Handelsregisterauszug (Germany, in German), or an Extrait Kbis (France, in French), each showing the company's legal name, registration number, registration date, and registered office address.

Address Matching the DID Area Code (Geographic Match)

A physical address that matches the geographic area covered by the phone number's area code. The address must include street name and number, postal/ZIP code, city, and country, and the city/region of the address must fall within the geographic area assigned to the DID's area code. Addresses outside the area code's geographic region are not acceptable for this requirement; a different (broader, national-level) address requirement must be selected if the customer cannot provide a matching local address.

Example
311 W Superior St, Chicago, IL 60654 (matches Chicago area code 312). For a +44 20 (Greater London) DID: an address within Greater London such as '60 Holborn Viaduct, London EC1A 2FD'. The address must lie within the area code's geographic boundaries.

Proof of Address (Recent Bill or Invoice)

A document evidencing the customer's physical address, issued within the past 3 months. Acceptable documents include utility bills (electricity, water, gas, internet, landline telephone), invoices from the current telecommunications provider, or insurance policy documents. The document must clearly show (1) the full name of the individual or registered business name (matching the order), (2) the complete physical address (street, postal code, city, country), and (3) the document issue date. Mobile phone bills, screenshots, handwritten documents, and bills older than 3 months are not acceptable.

Example
A PDF of the latest invoice from the customer's current phone provider, addressed to the end user at their registered address, with an issue date within the past 90 days; or an electricity utility bill with the same.

Passport or ID Copy in PDF Format

A clear color PDF copy of a valid, unexpired government-issued passport or national identity card belonging to the end user (for personal accounts) or the authorized representative (for business accounts). For ID cards, both front and back must be included in the PDF. The PDF must clearly show the holder's full legal name, photograph, date of birth, document number, issuing authority, and expiration date. The document must not be expired as of the submission date. Image formats other than PDF (such as JPG or PNG) and black-and-white copies are not acceptable for this requirement.

Example
A color PDF of the biographical data page of a passport, or a color PDF combining both sides of a national ID card. All details must be legible and the document must be a valid (unexpired) PDF, not a photograph or low-resolution scan.
