Numbers must be in international E.164 format starting with +61 followed by 9 digits. Australian mobile numbers begin with +614.

SERVICE ACTIVATOR means the person who requests activation of a prepaid mobile carriage service from the offering carriage service provider. The submitted value must clearly indicate one of the two roles.

Australian Mobile ID Verification (Onfido Process)

An identity verification process required for Australian Mobile DIDs, conducted via Telnyx's partner Onfido. The customer (or Telnyx on the customer's behalf) generates a unique verification link and shares it with the end user. The end user accesses Onfido's secure portal via the link, uploads government-issued identification documents, and completes a real-time selfie/liveness check. The Telnyx team reviews the verification result; if Onfido approves and the documents pass review, this requirement is marked complete. This is an action-type requirement: no document is uploaded directly by the customer; the verification is completed via the Onfido flow.
