VAT Number (9-Digit Format)

A valid Value Added Tax registration number consisting of exactly 9 numeric digits, issued by the relevant national tax authority. No country prefix or non-numeric characters are accepted in this field. The submitted value must correspond to the business named on the order and must be active.

Contact Information (Name, Business Name, Phone Number)

Contact information for the business or end user, including: (1) the name of the contact person (full given name and family name), (2) the business name when the end user is a business (registered legal name where applicable; may be omitted or stated as 'N/A' for individual end users), and (3) one or more contact phone numbers where the business or end user can be reached. Contact person name and at least one phone number are mandatory; business name is required only when the end user is a business entity. Phone numbers should be in international E.164 format where possible.

Local Business Registration Certificate (Business Use Only)

An official company registration or incorporation certificate issued by the government registry of the same country as the phone number being purchased. Required for business end users only. The document must clearly show the registered legal company name (matching the order), the unique company registration or incorporation number, the date of registration, the registered business address, and the issuing authority. Should be a clear color scan or original PDF in the local language or English, dated within the past 3 months unless a different timeframe applies at the country level.

For a France phone number: an Extrait Kbis from the Greffe du Tribunal de Commerce. For a UK phone number: a Companies House Certificate of Incorporation. The certificate must display the legal company name, registration number, registration date, and registered office address.

Letter of Authorization (LOA) or Power of Attorney (POA), Provided by Telnyx

A Letter of Authorization (LOA) or Power of Attorney (POA) document, using the template provided by Telnyx, that must be filled out and signed by the customer or authorized representative. The document authorizes Telnyx to act on the customer's behalf with respect to the phone numbers (typically for porting). The completed document must be returned with all required fields populated (legal name, address, phone numbers, signing date) and the authorized representative's signature applied. Modifications to the legal language of the Telnyx-provided template are not acceptable.

A completed and signed LOA/POA template (provided by Telnyx) returned as a PDF, with the customer's legal name, address, the phone numbers covered, the signing date, and the authorized representative's signature applied. Where applicable, a company stamp may also be required.

Local Government-Issued ID or Passport Copy (issued by country of phone number)

A clear color copy of a valid, unexpired government-issued identity document for the individual associated with the phone number order, issued by the same country as the phone number. Acceptable documents include a national identity card (front and back) or the biographical data page of a passport. The copy must clearly display the holder's full legal name, photograph, date of birth, document number, issuing authority, issue date, and expiration date. Documents issued by countries other than the order's country are not accepted under this requirement.

A color scan of a Spanish DNI (front and back) for a Spain phone number order, a French Carte Nationale d'Identité for a France order, or the photo and data page of a German Reisepass for a Germany order. All security features and personal details must be legible, and the document must not be expired as of the submission date.

Proof of Address (Local), with Local Activity Evidence

Provide a document dated within the past 3 months that shows the supplied local service address in the country of the phone number. Accepted documents include bank statements, government letters, tax letters, invoices, bills, utility bills, or other official documents that verify the end user’s local address. The document must show the individual’s name for personal end users, or the business name for business end users. Bank statements are an acceptable form of address verification when they show the required name, local service address, issuer, and date within the past 3 months. Leases, rental agreements, or other documents with occupancy or contract terms are not accepted.

Address Matching the DID Area Code (Geographic Match)

A physical address that matches the geographic area covered by the phone number's area code. The address must include street name and number, postal/ZIP code, city, and country, and the city/region of the address must fall within the geographic area assigned to the DID's area code. Addresses outside the area code's geographic region are not acceptable for this requirement; a different (broader, national-level) address requirement must be selected if the customer cannot provide a matching local address.
